Thank you very much Trevor. I love painting these little lovely creatures. seals,Birds. Horses Dogs, I love them all. Thanks again Trevor, and all the best. Vic.
Vic--really nice handling of the water--and the way the color transitions from top to bottom--the little fellow looks like he is submerged. He does look worried--wonder what's he's thinkin....
Love your treatment of water,it's such a difficult subject to paint. I love the colors as well as the movement you captured. As for the poor fellow, he does look worried. Well done my friend.
Hi Joan. thanks for your comment. I do enjoy doing these animal paintings. I love all their sad looking faces. I think it will be a bird next. All the best my friend. Vic.
I see Teresa that you must have been looking at my blog lately, thank you. I was pleased that I managed to get that sideways look okay. All the best Teresa. Vic.
Love this little face!!! It reminded me of my favorite movie- "Secret of Roan Inish"....if you've seen this movie- this face (esp. the eyes) will really get to you! I've never looked at seals the same since! yes, you've just 'gotta' see this movie if you haven't yet!!
What a fabulous painting Vic.
ReplyDeleteThe water is displaced by the weight of the seal. He does look like he his floating and supported with its volume.
Thank you very much Trevor. I love painting
