Well Woods. 10x12, Oils on Board

Another Palette knife job. It is in a local woods called "Well Woods" The reason for calling it that name is, I think, because at one time there was an actual well in there. Don`t quote me on that.

  1. Vic, I love the colors you used. If I'm not mistaken it looks as though you used a very limited palette. You are also doing great textures using the palette knife. Outstanding. Have a great weekend.

  3. Hi Joan.
Thanks again my friend. I used the following
colours. Ultramarine blue, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna and Titanium White. Roughly what I always use. Oh!, and a touch of Phthalo Green,
Blue shade. All Winsor @ Newton. I might have also used a bit of Cad` yellow for the lightest leaves. All the best Joan.

  4. Glad you like it Teresa, Thanks for the nice comment. Well Woods is only just up the road to us. We lived even closer before moving to where
we are now. I useto jog to it with our lovely
Sandy, our Rotty. She didn`t go much on the jogging bit though. All the best Teresa.
