Hi Pam. Thank you for your comment. Glad you like the Red. It`s made up of three tones. Dark, Mid and light. The dark is Cad`R`+ Burnt Sienna. then lightened with Titanium White. All the best Pam. Vic.
Hi Janice. That`s a coincidence, you being an ex USPS worker eh? Glad you like it. Janice, you need to put your Blog address on where your email is. When I click to go to your picture, It comes up but not your Blog. I had that problem at first, but my Son fixed it for me. Also one has to sign up to facebook to be able to send you a message. All the best Janice. Vic.
I left a comment on this painting yesterday. I guess it didn't go through. I love the reds in this. You capture the charm of your country in so many ways. Thank you for sharing my friend. All the best to you. I am off to church, have a great day.
Thank you Joan. I couldn`t resist painting this box. And they are a treasure to us. There are a lot that have been replaced, shame eh? All the best my friend. Vuc.
Hi Teresa. Thank you for your comment. Fish and chips? now your talking. Rosemary and I use`to stop outside a fish and chip shop and eat them in the car when we first met. All the best Teresa. Vic.
I love getting glimpses into your world. These images are to be treasured, things always seem to be replaced in our fast paced world. Love the charm, as Joan said, and the beautiful reds! Best to you Vic.
Hi Sue. Thank you for your comment. They are gorgeous looking Boxes yes. I have just visited your lovely latest posting. A lovely painting and lovely words. All the best Sue. Vic.
Hi Vic!.... A nice change of pace... and complementary colours... green to red! HAHA!!
An unusual subject.... not unlike the post boxes in Scotland.... to go along with the Fish n' chips in Anstruther... and the telephone boothes that I called home from!
Brought back memories and touched a chord with "Me"! A gem!
Good Painting! Warmest regards, Bruce
PS Love your control of red to maintian and create volume! Not easy with that colour!
Hi Bruce. Thank you very much for your great comment. I was very pleased to know that you say that I have controlled the colour to create volume, well, usualy i`m not too controlled with my colours, so Thank you for that, and all the best Bruce. Vic.
