Oil Sketches. 8x6 Oils on board.

These are a couple of sketches I did on our trip to a place called, `The Strand on the Green` with our Club Members. I hope to do some paintings from them. I will also post some photos of some of our club members and myself this evening.

  4. Thank you very much Joan. Yes, I did enjoy my day out. It wasn`t too hot either. just about right. I had good company as well. It was nice to see lots of our club members working along the bank. We found a nice resaurant and had a nice pot of tea each. We hope to go there again next year. We go out three times a year. I look forward to those outings. All the best Joan.

  7. Hi Teresa. Thank you very much for your great comment. I hope to post some photos of our day out, either this evening or tomorrow morning. We went out again today to a lovely Kent Village. It is owned by the National Trust, the whole Village that is, amazing eh? I managed just one painting because our tummies were rumbling. All the best Teresa.

  8. Hi Vic!... So wonderful to see "You".... "going boldly..." where others go fishing... shopping... golfing...etc. because of the summer greening!

Like "You"... "I grab at the opportunity to "play with paint" and discover greens not out of tubes! They're everywhere!

Lovely loose summer sketches "I" might add Vic!

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  12. I love your little sketches. I can't bring myself to to plein air painting here in the South because it is so hot and humid. I appreciate that you can. I also am interested in you pochade. I have been toying with the idea of getting one to use painting still life in my home.

  13. I have been having a very difficult time posting comments lately. I don't know if you got my comment on your small sketches. Both of them are lovely. I love the one with the bridge, that is my favorite!!
