Lavender Field. 12x17, Oils on board.l

This is a painting that was done through my Tutor Andy Walker. This is his website Address--www.learntodo.co.uk. It is a brilliant site for learning for beginners, and even for none beginners and professionals. Visit his site it will be worth it for you. I did this mainly from a photo he supplied and instructions but put in my own way of painting as well.

  9. Hi Vic... A wonderfully colour-driven and unique composition.

The lavender richly contributes to the overall success of the piece Vic!

  10. Hi Bruce.
Thank you very much for your nice comment. Yes, I`m reasonably pleased with the colours. The painting that I am doing at the moment is going to be slightly different to my usual palette, I am adding sap Green to it. I have always loved that colour but haven`t used it in oils. At one time I used it in my Watercolours, I think, it`s a long time ago now. All the best Bruce.
